Tuolumne, CA – August 8, 2011 – Black Oak Casino received some big honors at the recent Casino Marketing Conference in Las Vegas. The casino received a total of eight awards in various categories. In the web marketing category, Black Oak swept the Romero category with a Diamond award for the progressive web live jackpot ticker with integrated SMS text notification, a Gold award for the Instant response online club sign up program, and a Silver Award for the homepage PURL page log in button, which also provided a regular web address update element to the Club database.
In addition, Black Oak Casino received a Gold award for the Hollywood floor promotion for large casinos and Honorable mentions for Avalanche of Cash and The Dream Machine in the same promotional category. Honorable mention awards were also awarded to Black Oak for the Luck Be a Lady direct mail campaign and the Indian Market Public Relations campaign.
The Raving /BNP Romero awards are named for Casino Marketing pioneer and innovator John Romero. The large Casino award category includes all Casinos with over 1000 slot machines. Black Oak Casino has 1012 slot machines, putting it into the large Casino category.
