Contemporary Bluegrass Band NewFound Road to Perform at Black Oak Casino
One of the most exciting bands on the national bluegrass scene will be at Black Oak Casino on March 18th
One of the most dynamic and thrilling bands on today’s thriving bluegrass scene, NewFound Road, will be performing at Black Oak Casino this month. The four-man band from Ohio has received national acclaim and tours all over the U.S., performing everything from bluesy hard-driving solos to soaring three-part harmonies to solemn gospel numbers.
NewFound Road has been called contemporary bluegrass at its most soulful and sincere. The band’s music is marked by a refreshing clarity with a sense of honesty and purpose rarely heard in today's bluegrass. With a wide range of material both original and adapted, NewFound Road balances both the timeless and modern elements of bluegrass.
The band’s newest album Same Old Place will be released on April 28th. The band enlisted a new producer and spent more time in the studio for this album, which has a bigger, better sound and a new approach which will pleasantly surprise fans. The music is full of driving rhythms, haunting ballads, and classic bluegrass, and soulful vocals.
