TUOLUMNE, CA (January 4, 2007)– Why save music festivals only for summer? Black Oak Casino shakes off the winter chill by hosting a music festival showcasing artists whose eclectic sounds combine to create great American Music.

The Festival highlights the varied world-class entertainment scheduled weekly at the Willow Creek Lounge.

The first weekend of the Willow Creek American Music Festival kicked-off Thursday, January 4th with legendary bluegrass players Peter Rowan and Tony Rice celebrating their new album release “Quartet”.

On Jan. 25th America’s #1 selling cowboy music singer, Michael Martin Murphy will thrill fans with “Wildfire” and other cowboy favorites. One night later the classic Americana doubleheader, Blame Sally and Houston Jones will rock the Willow Creek lounge with their passionate and melodic harmonies.

The “Queen of Hearts”, Juice Newton takes the stage on Valentines Day to delight fans with her rockin’ classic country.

For a night of progressive bluegrass don’t miss Blue Highway featuring the resonating sounds of featured dobro artist and CMA player of the year Rob Ickes on February 16th.

Country star Lacy J Dalton (March 9th) and Shenandoah lead vocalist Marty Raybon (March 16th) highlight the 3rd month of the Willow Creek American Music Festival.

Rounding out the party will be the All-American Bluegrass Girl, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage (April 20th), and the wild musical adventures of The Joe Craven Band and special guest Incendio (May 4th).
