 World famous Cumbia stars La Internacional Sonora Show will perform Friday, March 2nd at 9pm in Black Oak Casino’s Willow Creek Lounge,

This special performance will feature all of the tropical Latin sounds which fans have come to love.

La Internacional Sonora Show is a widely respected professional team of singers, musicians, and composers known early on as La Sonora Dinamita. In 1992 they adopted the moniker La Internacional Sonora Show. The group was founded by the unforgettable Kiko Vargas, Sr. and his sons (Billy and Kiko Vargas, Jr.).

In the last decade, they have perfected the musical style that is the "Cumbia”. Cumbia music gets its soul from a combination of traditional Latin and African sounds.

La Internacional Sonora Show has appeared on the line-up of many high profile Latin music shows and has performed in many events including Carnival Calle Ocho in Miami, Fiesta Broadway in Los Angeles, all of the major Cinco de Mayo festivals. The music of La Internacional Sonora Show has been featured in commercials for MCI, the California Lottery, Coors Lite, Miller Lite and La Curacao. They recently sold out the famous Hollywood Palladium with advance ticket sales.

“This event is part of our Casino series,” said Kiko Vargas, who manages and plays in La Internacional Sonora Show. “Our appeal and customer satisfaction is being recognized by the casinos and we’re happy to be playing shows like this.”

The show will be free to guests at Black Oak Casino.
