TUOLUMNE , CA (February 1, 2006)– Black Oak Casino and IFC Caged Combat is pleased to announce the return of the IFC Warrior's Challenge to California . Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), sometimes known as Ultimate Fighting or Extreme Fighting, is the fastest growing contact sport in the world. This popular MMA fighting series has gained immense popularity since it's beginnings in 1998.

The Black Oak Warriors Challenge series will continue the great Warriors Challenge tradition of having the best up-and-coming fighters in the world square-off in the IFC's 30-foot steel cage.

The June 3 rd event at will feature UFC veteran and former IFC World Welterweight (170lbs.) Champion Gil Castillo , formerly of Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu, now training out of David Terrell and George Tsutsui Schools. Gil will be fighting Desert Dog Champion , standout fighter J. T. Taylor in a Super Fight. Also on this card IFC Battleground Champion, Tim “The Wrecking Machine” McKenzie of Stockton 's UOP will face Oregon 's Justin “The Hawk” Hawes in a Middleweight (185lbs.) Championship fight.

Spectators love the no holds barred fighting style which allows punches, kicks, throws, chokes, takedowns, arm bars and ankle locks. The IFC is one of the top MMA organizations in the world. Founded in 1996 it has been a leader in presenting and developing MMA as the sport it is today.

This full fight-card will host 8 other bouts, including one women's match.
