Black Oak Casino Installs Waterless Urinals

Tuolumne, CA – November 2, 2007 Black Oak Casino has installed 20 Solan Waterfree Urinals, in locations on all three floors of the casino. Mark Guy, Facilities Manager for Black Oak Casino, had his team install the urinals in administrative areas first to test the level of efficiency. Yearly, the casino should save around 40,000 gallons of water per unit or 800,000 gallons per year.

Guy said that Solan Waterfree Urinals will “better help the environment and reduce the amount of water going to the sanitary district.” Maintenance on the urinals will be reduced and with the initial installment of no pipes or flush valves, Black Oak Casino will save on maintenance and water, one of our most precious natural resources.
