Steps to Becoming a Black Oak Casino Resort Team Member

  1. Apply online - Your application will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.

  2. Job Offer / Pre-Employment
    1. Receive an email with link to onboarding Paperwork
    2. Drug and alcohol screen
    3. Discuss employment references
    4. Meet with Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) for fingerprinting
    5. Complete background packet

      1. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful licensure with TGA.
      2. The following exclude you from being able to obtain a gaming license:
        1. Persons who have a felony conviction or any conviction of theft or moral turpitude
        2. Have been previously denied or have had a revoked gaming license
      3. Must complete a gaming license packet and provide the following documentation within 7 days:
        1. Original Certified Current DMV Printout (From DMV)
        2. County Certified Birth Certificate (not the one issued by the hospital)
        3. Valid Driver's License or State Identification Card
        4. Social Security Card
        5. HS Diploma or GED if required for the position
        6. Past two years income tax returns
        7. Alien registration or Permanent Resident Card (if you are a registered alien)

  3. Issuance of Gaming License / Post Badge appointment
    1. Meet with TGA to turn in packet, documents and receive gaming license
    2. Meet with On-boarding Clerk to complete new hire paperwork
    3. Enrolled in required trainings and scheduled for Orientation
    4. Uniform Fitting
    5. Orientation – Welcome to the Team!
