Dear Valued Guests,

The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians is committed to reopening Black Oak Casino Resort in a responsible manner that promotes the well-being of our guests and team members. Our goal is to provide the safest possible environment for your comfort and enjoyment.

To achieve this, we are implementing the following health and safety precautions with consideration of state and federal guidelines. New initiatives include:

  • Revised hours of operation to allow for a thorough cleaning every night:
    • Sunday – Thursday: 9 am – 1 am
    • Friday and Saturday: 9 am – 4 am
  • Temperature screenings for guests upon entry.
  • Guests are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
  • Reduced guest occupancy levels
  • Frequent cleaning of surfaces, machines and high-traffic areas
  • Hand-sanitizing stations readily available throughout the resort
  • Plexiglass shields at Players Club, the Cashier, Jumping Coyote Espresso and the Black Oak Café
  • Physical distancing floor markers placed at Players Club, the Cashier, ATMs and kiosks
  • Jumping Coyote Espresso is open for to-go orders only. The Black Oak Café is open for dine-in service, see modified hours here. All other dining will open at a later date.
  • Manzanita and Willow Creek bars are open for full beverage service. Please observe physical distancing guidelines: Stay six feet apart while waiting and do not remain at the bar after receiving your drink.
  • Slot machine availability will be adjusted to promote appropriate physical distancing. Machines will be frequently sanitized.
  • Table games will be limited to a maximum of three players per table. All games will be contactless and played face-up: only the dealer will touch cards and chips.
  • All team members are required to:
    • Complete COVID-19 safety training
    • Undergo a temperature screening before starting their shift
    • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Wash their hands thoroughly and frequently
  • THE HOTEL at Black Oak Casino Resort will only accept reservations that include a hotel offer (received via a newsletter mailing). THE HOTEL will not accept group or event bookings until further notice.

Protecting and supporting our Black Oak Casino Resort family and the public continues to be of the utmost importance to us. For everyone’s health and safety, if you do not feel well, please stay at home.

In May 2001, we opened the doors to Black Oak Casino Resort for the very first time. GAMING FLOOR

 

Q: What happens to my Players Club offers from March/April?

A: All Free Play offers from March and April have been reissued for June. Check your newsletter mailing or visit Players Club for details.

Q: How does the closure affect my Players Club tier? Will I be dropped to a lower tier since I haven’t been able to play?

A: No. You will retain your current tier until December 31. See Players Club for details.

Q: You’ve announced that “not all slot machines will be available” because of social distancing. How will this work?

A: All machines are on, but seating has been reduced. If the machine you want is right next to one already occupied by another player, please observe social distancing guidelines and wait until they leave.

Q: What if my slot machine cash-out voucher expired during the closure?

A: For vouchers that expired on or before March 15, 2020, the expiration date will be extended for six months from the date printed on the voucher.

Q: My birthday happened during the closure. Will I still be able to receive my gift and birthday Free Play?

A: Yes. You can still get your gift from Players Club until June 30. For birthday Free Play, visit a kiosk from June 8 – 21.

Q: Are masks required?

A: No, but wearing one is encouraged. For your safety, masks will be worn at all times by our team members. We understand that you’ll have to remove your mask to eat, drink or smoke.

Q: What kinds of drinks can be ordered on the gaming floor?

A: Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be ordered from the beverage servers.

Q: Are you still allowing buses from the Valley to come to the casino?

A: Not at this time. The bus program is on hiatus for the first phase of reopening.

 

HOTEL AND RV PARK

 

Q: Is the hotel open? Is the pool open?

A: Yes. At this time, reservations are only being accepted for Players Club members who have received a hotel offer (via a newsletter mailing). Phone reservations only; online reservations are not available. The pool is open to hotel guests only. The fitness center will reopen at a later date.

Q: Is the RV Park open? Can non-Tuolumne County residents make a reservation?

A: The RV Park is open, and anyone can make a reservation online or by phone.

Q: Do I need to have a hotel or RV park reservation to enter the casino?

A: No. The casino is open to all guests age 21 and over.

Q: Do I get priority/guaranteed entry into the casino if I have a hotel reservation?

A: Yes, there will be a priority line at the door for hotel guests and Diamond cardholders if the casino is at capacity.
